Mapping with OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap is the kind of map that I like, being both free to use and freely editable.

I’ve been mapping Aslockton and Whatton over the past few weeks, and the results aren’t at all bad.

So if you need a map – especially if you need to re-print it, or do something else that Google or Ordnance Survey wouldn’t like – give OSM a try. And if your part of the world isn’t mapped, map it yourself!

Finally, I couldn’t write a post about OSM without linking to this comparison between Google Maps and OpenStreetMap. You just couldn’t make it up…
